Aging and the Digestive Tract: Videos

We have just released two videos about the effects of aging on the digestive tract, each in English and French, with the financial support of the Province of British Columbia Ministry of Health.

One video focuses on an overview of the digestive diseases and disorders that are more common or worsen as you age. The second video looks at the ways good nutrition can help your gut function.

According to a recent report from the Public Health Agency of Canada,1 the number of individuals in the country 65 years-of-age and older is projected to grow from 6.6 million in 2019 to 10.7 million by 2040, which will represent a quarter of the population in 2040.

If you are younger, these videos still might interest you, as they have tips on keeping your gut healthy, which are beneficial for all ages.
